Why the Sapphire Coast?
I grew up on this coastline, and I've been photographing it for over a decade. The Sapphire Coast is wild, unspoiled, and photogenic in every direction—Bortle-2 skies, pounding surf, and towering rock formations.
We'll shoot the classics and some hidden gems: Milky Way arcs over Glasshouse Rocks, Horse Head Rock at sunrise, Camel Rock's crashing waves, and long exposures at Australia Rock.
This isn't just a workshop. It's a creative reset.

How does All-Inclusive work?
You get a private single room in a premium ocean-view villa (no twin-share), plus all local transfers to and from each shooting location. No driving. No logistics. Just photography.
Can I get transfers from Sydney?
Yes—if you're flying into Sydney, we can coordinate flights and road trip down together (approx. 4.5 hrs). Just let me know post-booking and we'll make it easy.
What fitness level is required?
Walks up to 1 km on sandy or rocky terrain with gear, at a relaxed pace. We take frequent breaks and work at a comfortable pace for all participants.
What's the cancellation policy?
Cancel 60+ days out for a full refund. Inside 60 days, partial credit applies if we fill your place. We recommend travel insurance for unexpected circumstances.
Is there power & reception?
4G reception is strong in most areas, and USB charging is available in the villa and our 4×4 vehicles throughout the day.
Is travel insurance required?
Yes—mandatory to cover yourself and your gear against delays, loss, and injury during the workshop.
What about special diets?
Meals are pay-as-you-go; we'll suggest local restaurants with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary options to suit everyone's needs.
What if the weather is bad?
Clouds = extended editing labs. Stormy seas = dramatic seascapes. We pivot as needed to ensure you get the most from every condition.
Is this beginner friendly?
If you understand Manual mode basics, we'll take it from there. You'll finish more confident and capable, regardless of your starting point.
What are the drone rules?
Standard CASA rules apply: 30m from people, <120m height, line of sight only. We'll review regulations during the workshop.
