What's the difference between the two editions?

The Winter edition focuses on astrophotography and winter landscape conditions, while the Summer edition emphasizes waterfalls and coastal photography during the rainy season.

Can I book both editions?

Absolutely! Many photographers enjoy experiencing the region in different seasons. We offer a 10% discount when booking both workshops.

What fitness level is required?

Walks of 2-3 km on uneven terrain with your gear. We take breaks and adjust pace to suit all participants.

What's the cancellation policy?

Cancel 60+ days out for a full refund. Inside 60 days, partial credit applies if we fill your place. Travel insurance is recommended.

What gear should I bring?

DSLR/mirrorless camera, wide-angle lens (14-24mm), sturdy tripod, remote shutter, ND filters. We provide star trackers.

Is there power & reception?

Our accommodations have full facilities, and 4G reception is available at most locations except deep in the rainforest.

What about wet weather?

We embrace all conditions! Rain creates stunning waterfalls and moody atmospheres. We provide wet weather gear recommendations.

Can beginners join?

Yes! We tailor instruction to each participant's level. Basic knowledge of manual camera settings is helpful but not required.

Are drones allowed?

Yes, with standard CASA regulations: 30m from people, <120m height, line of sight only. We'll review regulations during the workshop.
